Zusammenfassung: | What Christian theology urgently needs is to critically assume the paradigm of so-called personal theism, to start a re-thinking of the idea of providence from a post-theistic point of view. This "new" paradigm allows for an understanding of the Absolute in an essential relationship with creation and for rethinking the providential action of the Absolute in terms of "relative" Monism. God is no longer considered an "actor" in the world and in human history but "active" in every being, as a power given to creatures so that they can self-determine themselves. It follows that the unique and transcendental creative action of God does not need to be further realized in successive special and categorical actions. |
